Hatchet 3 is the Hatchet's horror film of 2013. It is a follow-up to the murderous adventures of Victor Crowley through Louisiana's Honey Island Swamp. Kane Hodder stars as Victor Crowley, Brian Quinn plays Deputy Winslow and Rileah Vanderbilt plays Misty.



Its utilization of special effects is the primary strength of this movie. Hatchet 3 is a modern horror film that relies heavily on CG effects. Hatchet 3 focuses mainly on practical makeup effects as well as sets. The result is some truly horrifying scenes.

The cast gives a solid performance, with Kane Hodder being the most terrifying villain. The dialogue feels like a 1980s slasher movie. It's funny and hilarious. In the end, Hatchet 3 was very enjoyable. I found it to be remarkably similar to other entries in the series. However, Hatchet 3 provided lots of gory thrills and entertaining performances from its actors.
